André tem mais de 30 anos de experiência no setor energético com passagem nas atividades de geração a partir de fontes renováveis como Biomassa, pequenas e médias centrais hidroelétricas e eólica, além de atividades na área de transmissão de energia.

Em 2011 assumiu a direção da Areva Renewables Brasil, focadano fornecimento,em Regime EPC, de centrais de geração nos segmentos de biomassa e hidroelétrico.

No final de 2014 foi convidado a transferir-se para a atividade Nuclear do GrupoAreva e a assumir a direção do GrupoAreva para a América Latina. Desde o início de 2018 a empresa passou a ser chamada Framatome, sendo incorporada por uma associação dasfrancesasElectricité de France -EDFe Assystems, e da japonesa Mitsubishi HeavyIndustries –MHI,onde continua a exercer a funçãode direção e desenvolvimento de negócios na região até a presente data.

A Framatome é referência no fornecimento de combustívelnuclear, equipamentos e serviços inovadores, de alta performance equalidade superior para plantas Nucleares de diversas tecnologias em todo o mundo.

A Framatome é ainda a projetista da tecnologia -OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) das plantas de Angra 2 e de Angra 3 no Brasil e de Atucha I e Atucha II na Argentina.

Célestin Piette holds a Master in Chemical Engineering and a complementary Master in Management. As Innovation Manager he leads Tractebel’s R&D and Business development on nuclear Industrial Applications, including hydrogen endeavors. On top of his Engie’s nuclear traineeship, he recently took a position of administrator in the European Society of Engineers and Industrials. Célestin acts as a representative for Tractebel within SMR international working groups such as WNA, OECD/NEA, IAEA and Foratom.

Especialista em análise estrutural de estruturas civis e componentes mecânicos, participou da análise de tensões do Vaso de Pressão do Reator de Angra 2, do dimensionamento de estruturas civis em Angra 3 e avaliações de equipamentos de Angra 1 para cargas operacionais. Desde outubro de 2009, é Superintendente de Engenharia de Projetos da Eletronuclear, responsável pelas atividades de engenharia de projeto de Angra 3 e pela implementação da UAS – Unidade de Armazenamento Complementar para Elementos de Combustível Irradiados de Angra 1 e Angra 2.

Vitae: Marcos is a medical physicist at Clinics Hospital (UFBA), R&D head at RADTEC and advisor at health tech Nuclearis. His background is medical physics, from Federal University of Sergipe (2006), he is a medical physicist expert associated to the Brazilian Association of Medical Physics (2008), he has fellowships at MD Anderson Cancer Center (USA – 2012) and Groningen Medisch Centrum (Netherlands – 2016) on behalf of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Master of Science in Nuclear Technology from Federal University of Pernambuco (2015), and PhD student in medicine UFBA. Marcos has received software development grants from CNPq, FAPESB, FINEP and private investments to work on R&D and technological entrepreneurship. He has lead multi-professional teams with physicians, computer scientists, medical physicists and data scientists to provide high tech medical solutions on the topics of radiomics, artificial intelligence, personalized medicine and protocols for image optimization. He is a reviewer of Biomedical Physics and Engineering Express (PBEX).

Vitae: Mr. David Quiroga is Electromechanical Engineer and holds a Specialization Degree in Technological Applications of Nuclear Energy at National Atomic Energy Commission. Since 2013 he has been working as Nuclear Safety Analyst in PSA Level 1 - Department of Nuclear Safety at Bariloche Atomic Center, National Atomic Energy Commission. He has been the head of the PSA Level 1 Division of the Department since 2019. He works on the development of probabilistic level 1 safety models and evaluations for licensing; evaluation of regulations for electrical systems for nuclear reactors; methodological developments for probabilistic models: common cause failure modelling for plants under design; and modelling of distributed control systems. He works on the organization and coordination of interdisciplinary tasks: HAZOP analysis of the CAREM-25 reactivity control system; FMEA analysis of the electrical system of CAREM-25; and support and review of tasks from external groups. He was site inspector in high voltage electrical transport systems – TRANSNOA; Construction inspector: control and monitoring of the work Double triple 132 kV San Martín – Catamarca and organized and participated in the installation of a power switch (132 kV) in the La Rioja Transformer Station. He is Member of the SECTyP-UNCUYO Research Project, working on developments in methods and models for the evaluation of nuclear safety aspects for the design and licensing of nuclear reactors and application cases.

Vitae: Dom Claudio is the Director of Sales for NuScale Power responsible for small modular reactor (SMR)Sales to end users. Prior to joining NuScale in 2018, Claudio was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing with ENEXIO (U.S.), a provider of power plant cooling and heat exchanger technology. Previously, Claudio worked with AREVA for 14 years where he led new product initiatives for large U.S. nuclear utilities. These initiatives included post-Fukushima solutions, sales and service of a variety of nuclear steam supply system components (including steam generators and reactor pressure vessels) working closely with various AREVA factories in France, and supply chain development for the U.S. Evolutionary Power Reactor.

Claudio leads NuScale’s business development presence in Canada. He engages federal and provincial governments, supports the needs of interested stakeholders, and engages with nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). Beyond North America, Claudio represents NuScale by attending a diverse range of international forums and directly engaging with potential SMR owners.

Claudio has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. He also participated in the Robert Morris University Executive MBA Program in Pittsburgh, PA and the University of Virginia Darden Executive Leadership Program in Charlottesville, VA.

Vitae: He worked for 20 years in the Nuclear Regulatory Body of Argentina, where he reached the position of Head of Nuclear and Radiological Safety Department, in charge of the safety assessment, licensing and inspection of the facilities of the Argentinean fuel cycle. In 2005 he joined the IAEA Assessment and Management of Environmental Releases Unit in the Waste and Environment Safety Section, where he works until now. He was the scientific officer for the implementation of the Safety Guides "Radiological Environmental Impact Assessment for Activities and Facilities"  and "Regulatory Control of Radioactive Discharges to the Environment", published in 2018, and for many other publications related to public and environment protection. He developed a practical methodology for the application of the ICRP approach to protect flora and fauna from the effects of releases during normal operation, which was approved by IAEA’s Member States to be included in the mentioned Safety Guides in order to complete consistently the classical human protection approach. Since 2005, Mr Tellería has been the IAEA’s representative in the International Convention on the Protection of Marine Environment from Dumping of Wastes (the London Convention 1972) and the OSPAR Convention 1986 for the protection of the marine environment from discharges of land based installations. Mr Tellería contributes steadly with international scientific journals  and has a strong presence in human and environmental protection conferences, such as those organized by IAEA, ICRP and IRPA.

Mr Amaral has been the coordinator of the technical directorate since January 2018, for the company’s main projects for Angra 1 and 2 NPPs including the life extension and power uprate. Presently he is the Manager of Angra 1 Long Term Operation and License Renewal Program. Between 2015 and 2018 he held the position of Technical Advisor to the CEO of Eletronuclear, as well as serving as the General Manager for Angra 3 new construction project. Prior to that he was the Site Engineering General Manager between 2003 and 2015. Mr Amaral took part in several WANO and IAEA peer review missions for NPPs.
